Rolls Mechanical Celebrates Women’s History Month

Join us in celebrating Women's History Month as we shine a spotlight on the exceptional women at Rolls Mechanical. From Becky, our senior service administrator, to Lauryn, a talented HVACR apprentice, and Sarah, a skilled service plumber, these women are breaking barriers and making their mark in the HVAC industry. Discover their inspiring stories and the contributions they bring to our team.

In honor of International Women’s Day, Rolls Mechanical is proud to highlight a few of our awesome ladies! Women make up only 1.4% of the HVAC industry, and we’re honored to have so many talented individuals as a part of our family! First, we would like to highlight Becky Copeland. Becky has been a part of our family for 2.5 years and is the senior service administrator for our HVACR service department. Becky also specializes in control system design and installation. She was monumental in the successful implementation of a new work order management software and the growth of our service team. Becky is currently enrolled at Mott Community College and in senior-level HVACR trades classes. Becky’s favorite thing about the HVACR trade is “the challenge to push limitations creatively with large amounts of attention to detail”. Becky’s favorite thing about working at Rolls Mechanical is “the energy and excitement of working for an industry leader who prioritizes quality work in and out of the field, as well as the ability to be a part of a family whose name holds such a high level of respect in the HVACR trade”. Keep up the great work Becky!!”

“We want to highlight Lauryn, a very talented HVACR apprentice. Lauryn has been an institutional & industrial HVACR apprentice learning how to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair some of the most advanced equipment in Michigan. She is known throughout our company for her hard work and “can do” attitude. Lauryn says she likes most about the HVACR trade and working at Rolls Mechanical is “the learning experience that has not only broadened my knowledge of different kinds of HVACR work but has helped me learn so much so quickly because it is hands-on training”. Lauryn has a super bright career ahead of her and we’re excited to support her along the way! Keep up the great work” “Women make up only 1.5% of the plumbing industry, and we’re honored to have a few talented individuals as a part of our family! We’re featuring Sarah, a highly talented Rolls Mechanical service plumber. While Sarah is newer to the plumbing trade, she has a strong track record of being a successful tradeswoman. Sarah holds her general contracting license, runs her own business, and holds her EPA refrigerant landing license. Simply put, there is nothing Sarah cannot do! Sarah says likes “having the skills to complete just about anything I set my mind to or the wisdom drive to learn how to”. We’re happy to see Sarah succeed in the plumbing field and are excited to be supporting her along the way!”
