Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Commercial/Industrial/Institutional systems and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical systems in commercial construction and renovation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Install conduit systems including EMT, Rigid, and PVC
  • Pull wire and terminate electrical panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and devices
  • Perform layout and planning of electrical installations
  • Install and troubleshoot power distribution systems
  • Ensure all installations comply with NEC and local electrical codes
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and other trades on job sites
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards

Qualifications

  • Valid Michigan Master Electrician License
  • Minimum 8+ years of commercial electrical experience
  • Proficient in conduit bending and installation
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
