Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems in commercial construction and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install conduit systems including EMT, Rigid, and PVC
- Pull wire and terminate electrical panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and devices
- Perform layout and planning of electrical installations
- Install and troubleshoot power distribution systems
- Ensure all installations comply with NEC and local electrical codes
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Master Electrician License
- Minimum 8+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Proficient in conduit bending and installation
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
